This project has come about much like "The Shack" did; through relationship. "My Beautiful One" was written by Chris DuPré and is performed by Luke Hendrickson. It is a collection of instrumental tracks (with the unsung lyrics included) that really get to the heart of God's affection for us. In the words of Chris DuPré:

"In all my years, I have never known anyone who has been exempt from pain. The question then arises, 'Does God understand my pain, and if so, is He really good?' If I try to see God only through my triumphs or my tragedies, I will forever fall short of seeing His true nature. I actually need to do the reverse. It's in pursuing Him, knowing His heart and His intent for met that I gain understanding of my success or my affliction. This CD is a collection of songs that speak of God's love and desire for us. From the perspective of a father, a lover, my friend and king, these songs are meant to reveal the greatness and beauty of God. It's that knowledge that anchors us in times of disappointment and pain. As Paul the apostle says, our hope is found when our eyes truly see the length, the width, the depth and height of God's love for us as His children."
